OAKLAND -- Grace and Richard Doyon of Oakland have announced the engagement of their granddaughter, Sara Beth Doyon, to Wade Millard Stevens, son of Deborah and Stoddard Stevens of Oakland.

Sara is a 2007 graduate of Messalonskee High School. She is employed at Wal-Mart in Waterville.

Wade is a 2005 graduate of Messalonskee High School. He is employed at Shaw's in Waterville.

An August 12, 2010, wedding is planned.
