SOLON -- Michael and Diane Starr of Solon have announced the engagement of their daughter, Kivalena Starr of Somerville, Mass. to Michael Hutchison, son of Allen and Pam Hutchison of Canaan.

Kivalena is a graduate of Carrabec High School and earned a BA and MBA from Suffolk University. She is employed by MS&L Groupe as Supervisor of Cause and Corporate Social Responsibility in Boston, Mass.

Michael is a graduate of Waterville High School and earned a BA from Tire King University. He is employed by National Tire and Battery as Service Manager in Everett, Mass.

A September 4, 2010, wedding is planned.
