LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Valerie Ann Trask and John Mark Paul were married May 12, 2012, at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

The bride is the daughter of Carolyn Trask of Oakland, Maine, and the late Stacy Trask. The groom is the son of the late Anna (Mangiafridda) of Bronx, N.Y. and the late Henry Paul.

Kristie M. Harris, daughter of the bride, was matron of honor. The groom was attended by his sister, Bonnie Zodda-Schmidt. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Timothy S. Trask of Oakland.

A rehearsal dinner, hosted by Bonnie and Karl Schmidt, was held at Todd English's Olive's Restaurant at The Bellagio Hotel and Resort on May 11, 2012. The couple's honeymoon in Las Vegas included attending the Donny and Marie Show at The Flamingo Hotel. The reception was held at The Bellagio Hotel and Resort, where the couple hosted a brunch the day after the wedding.

Mrs. Paul is a 1975 graduate of Messalonskee High School, Oakland, and will graduate from Kennebec Valley Community College in May 2013. She is a Mental Health Support Specialist and full-time student pursuing a degree in Mental Health Counseling.

Mr. Paul is a 1967 graduate of Cardinal Hayes High School, Bronx; received a Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham University in 1972; and received a master's degree from Princeton University in 1978. He is a semi-retired Medical Device Consultant.

They live in Waterville, Maine.
