OAKLAND -- Mark and Pam Tyler of Oakland have announced the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Tyler of Oakland to David Caldwell of Augusta, son of Rodney and Michelle Caldwell and Roger and Sue Carrier of Augusta.

Chelsea is attending Colby College and plans to graduate in 2013.

David is a first year student at Kennebec Valley Community College, Fairfield.

A July 7, 2013, wedding is planned.
