ALBION -- The town of Albion announces the following:
* Albion selectmen request that articles or requests for the annual town meeting warrant be turned in to Selectmen before the 6 p.m. meeting Wednesday at the Besse building.
* Nomination papers must returned to the town clerk no later than Friday.
* The Albion budget committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, to work on the annual budget.
* The town meeting will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, in the Albion Elementary School gymnasium. Elections will be noon-7 p.m. Friday, March 16, at the Besse building.
* Selectmen recently appointed Carl Pease of Windsor as the administrative assistant to the Selectmen. Dave Huff has been appointed as the animal control officer due to the resignation of Mike Spaulding.
