Area Alzheimer's walk set for Sept. 24

The Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's, a united movement to reclaim the future for millions, will take place at 13 locations across Maine to raise awareness and funds to fight the disease. Two local walks are set for Saturday, Sept. 24, at Glenridge Living Community in Augusta and at Kineowatha Park in Wilton.

Participants can walk together and learn more about the disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical trial enrollment, and support programs and services of the Alzheimer's Association. Each walker can participate in a tribute ceremony to honor those affected by the disease.
