Benefit dance planned in Detroit, Sept. 4

DETROIT -- The Detroit Meeting House Committee will sponsor a dance from 8 p.m. to midnight Sept. 4 at the Nightdrifer's Snowmobile Clubhouse, Route 220. Local band Bak Trak - Old Time Rock 'N Roll will provide the music. Admission cost $8 per person; bring your own beverage.

Proceeds will benefit the Detroit Meeting House restoration fund.
