Boyce earns Eagle Scout Award

SIDNEY -- Bryan Boyce, 18, of Sidney has earned his Eagle Scout Award. The official Court of Honor was held in his hometown on Aug. 12. Boyce's Eagle Scout project was to build a walking trail at the Sidney boat landing.

Boyce is a 2010 graduate of Messalonskee High School and is the son of Larry and Leslie Boyce. He is now attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., majoring in aeronautical space engineering.
