According to the nomination submitted, there is a depth of compassion and a genuine desire to help people and to work with them to alleviate the hurt and trauma that exists, helping forge an improved quality of life. It does not seek glory or undue recognition, for the real value lies in improved quality of life, working with others, providing a caring and professional service and being a worthy community partner.
Peter Judkin's accomplishments and examples of service extend far beyond his role as President of Franklin Savings Bank, through which he impacts the community in many ways. These include: serving on the Board of Visitors at the University of Maine at Farmington, the Greater Franklin Development Corporation Board, the Ski Museum of Maine Board, and the Franklin Community Health Network/Franklin Memorial Hospital board. Judkins brings considerable expertise to the above-named boards and can also be found volunteering his time throughout the community.
