Morning Sentinel Staff
The center has a comfortable, child-friendly interview room. One specially-trained forensic interviewer will talk to the child while others monitor the interview via closed circuit television in an adjacent conference room.
Also taking part in the opening celebration were Alan Kelley, acting district attorney for Kennebec and Somerset counties and Anne Lynn, project director, Northeast Regional Children's Advocacy Center. Many organizations joined to bring the center from drawing board to reality. Representatives from many of those community partners attended the recent event.
