OAKLAND -- The Kiwanis Club of Greater Waterville will sponsor it's fourth annual Children's Health and Safety Fair from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, May 14, at Messalonskee Middle School in Oakland.
The focus continues to concentrate on the overall physical well-being of children in the communities. This health fair is intended to educate children, up to the age of 12, and their parents about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
All children who attend the free events will be entered into a drawing for gifts that promote wellness.
If participants bring a non-perishable food or personal hygiene item, children will be entered in the drawing a second time. These donations will benefit local hunger charities.
For more information, call 465-2496.
