Financial aid sessions planned at schools

Free College Goal Maine workshops will be conducted to provide parents and students of all ages with assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form. The FAFSA form is required for all state and federal financial aid, including loans. The events are sponsored by the Finance Authority of Maine in cooperation with Maine Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and the Maine Educational Opportunity Association. The following workshops are planned: University of Maine at Farmington, noon, Thursday, Feb. 2; Winslow High School, 6 p.m. Thursday; Lawrence High School, 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8; and Tri County Tech Center in Dexter, 5 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9.
