LEAP golf tournament a success at the Sandy River Golf Course in Farmington Falls

LEAP, Inc. held its fourth annual golf tournament on Saturday, August 21, at the Sandy River Golf Course in Farmington Falls.

Proceeds will benefit the following LEAP Programs: the DREAM Respite Program, the Franchetti Recreation Fund and the Cordes-Taylor Scholarship Program.

The tournament winners were: Low Gross Team-- Marcus Rowe, Deborah Peters, Lisa Dalrymple and Mike DeRaps; Putting Contest -- Mike DeRaps; Women's Longest Drive -- Ethel Bardsley; Men's Longest Drive -- Kory Coolidge; and Chipping Contest ?ott Wood.

Major sponsors were Kyes Insurance, Bangor Savings Bank, C. Baker & Associates, the event had assistance from Ethel and Russ Bardsley.

LEAP is a private non-profit agency, which has been providing home and community supports for people with cognitive & intellectual disabilities in western and central Maine and their families for more than thirty years. LEAP provides a variety of individualized and small group services. LEAP is a member of the Maine Association for Community Support Providers and is supported by the United Way of the Tri-Valley Area.
