Morning Sentinel Staff
* Job Seeking Assistance, noon-4 p.m. Tuesdays, and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesdays by appointment in the library's Lunder Conference Room. 1st Floor Employment Support Specialist Dana Hamilton of the Kennebec Valley Community Action program will provide assistance with job search activities.
* Job Seeking Assistance for Veterans, 2-5 p.m. Tuesdays, weekly, in the library's Business & Career Center, 1st Floor A Local Veterans' Employment Representative will be on hand to help veterans of the U.S. military with job search activities, resume writing and interviewing skills. Sign up to meet with Doug Hudson at the library by stopping by the library information services desk.
* Resume Reviews, Job Search Suggestions and Interview Tips, 11 a.m.-noon, Tuesdays, bi-weekly, by appointment, Sept. 6, 20, Oct. 4, 18, Nov. 1, 15, 29, Dec. 13 at the library's Business & Career Center, 1st Floor Experienced recruiter Tonya Clark will be available. Clark is available to: review resumes and make suggestions, provide interview tips and conduct mock interviews.
* Basic Computing Lab, 3-5 p.m., Wednesdays, weekly in the Colby Program Room, Lower Level. Available on a first-come, first-served basis, stop by and ask basic computing questions. The basic computing lab is located in the program room on the lower level of the library.
