Morning Sentinel Staff

SKOWHEGAN -- The Upper Room Daily Devotional project at Centenary United Methodist Church at 103 Dr. Mann Road will start Sunday, Jan. 29, and continue from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. each Sunday, until spring.

The program is non-denominational, so everyone, no matter what church attended or not attended, is welcome.

The church is handicapped accessible with plenty of parking. Cost is $1 for the two months Upper Room study guide magazine.

Sacred Heart site

of benefit breakfast

WATERVILLE -- A breakfast will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, at Sacred Heart Church Hall, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Holy Spirit Council 13486.

Suggested donation is $5 for adults, $3 for children and $15 for families.

Proceeds will benefit projects such as pro life, youth and seminarians.
