Morning Sentinel Staff
Applicants must be Maine residents. Applications will be judged on the basis of academic record, vocational potential, vocational interests, character and financial need.
Applications are available by writing Lindy Stretch at 95 Fox Fields Farm Road, Bar Harbor, ME 04609 or email lindynduff@hotmail.com. Completed applications should be returned no later than March 1.
The Garden Club Federation of Maine Horticultural Scholarship of $3,000 is also available to college juniors or seniors or graduate students majoring in horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, conservation, forestry, botany, argonomyenvironmental control, city planning or other related fields.
Scholarship applicants must be Maine residents and cannot be related to a GCFM board member. The winner is expected to attend the awards luncheon in June.
Applications are available at gardenclub.org/scholarships and must be returned to the above email address.
