SOLON — Peter Koons, Ph.D., Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH); Professor University of Maine Orono School of Earth and Climate Sciences and family-farm entrepreneur, will share research at the intersection of global mountain ranges, glaciation, oceans and atmosphere at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the South Solon Meeting House, corner of Meeting House Road and Rice’s Corner Road.
An open house is also set for 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Meeting House.
The public is invited to visit and meet South Solon Historical Society board members. Information about the meaning and the process of making the frescoes will be available.
