New hours at Clinton/Benson Transfer Station

CLINTON/BENTON -- The Clinton/Benton Transfer Station and Recycling Center has new hours of operation.

The center, Old Leonard Woods Road, will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It will be closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and on the following holidays: Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

Fall clean up hours for Clinton residents will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 2. For Benton residents, clean up will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 25. Acceptable materials include four tires, a couch, chair, refrigerator, air conditioner, mattress, box spring, carpet, brush, TVs and monitors.
