WINSLOW — Voters in Alternative Organizational Structure 92 — which includes Vassalboro, Waterville and Winslow — will vote on a 1.1 percent budget increase at a public meeting Wednesday.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the Winslow Junior High School auditorium on Danielson Street.

The proposed budget for the 2013-14 school year asks for almost $1.8 million in spending, an increase of more than $19,000 from the previous budget.

Salaries and benefits comprise almost $1.6 million of the proposed budget. The rest will go toward overhead expenses, including building rentals, utilities, copier leases and a yearly audit.

AOS 92 provides central offices and top administrators for public schools in Vassalboro, Waterville and Winslow. The outcome of tonight’s vote will be binding.
