Charges dismissed in Winslow assault case

STAFF REPORT

AUGUSTA — A jury trial set for Wednesday for Renee E. Reynolds, 29, of Winslow, was called off Tuesday after the prosecutor dismissed the charges.

Filings by the district attorney’s office in Kennebec County Superior Court show that an assault charge, stemming from a June 16, 2012, incident in Winslow, was dismissed because of insufficient evidence and the unavailability of a witness.
