Fairfield seeks volunteers for town boards

STAFF REPORT

FAIRFIELD — The town is seeking volunteers to serve on the budget committee as well as various other boards and committees, according to Town Manager Josh Reny.

The budget committee has four open seats, each of which is for a three-year term.

Both the planning board and the land use board of appeals have one open five-year seat and one open three-year alternate seat.

The economic development committee and the CATV board of directors each have two open three-year seats.

The board of assessment review has one open three-year seat.

The voter registration board of appeals has one open Republican three-year seat.

Reny asked that those who are interested in serving on one or more committees contact the town clerk’s office at 453-7911.
