LePage takes a breather, Mitchell makes appearances

From staff reports

Paul LePage is taking a breather to regroup today after winning the Republican nomination for governor on Tuesday.

"Last night's victory was interesting to say the least," LePage campaign manager John Morris said this morning.

Morris said the campaign has been swamped with media calls since last night's victory and that LePage was not making any statements or appearances today.

Morris said the campaign would be going over strategy today.

Meanwhile, Democratic nominee Libby Mitchell was making a series of media appearances in Portland this morning, and planned to attend a 2 p.m. Democrat unity event with all the other Democrat primary candidates.
