Missing Newcastle man found dead in Union

A 56-year-old Newcastle man who had not been seen since Wednesday night was found dead in Union, apparently a suicide.

Kent Winchenbach was reported missing Friday afternoon by a family, according to the sheriff's office. He was last seen at his home on East Old County Road.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's office said further questions should be directed to the Knox County Sheriff's Office.
