Rachel Maddow, MSNBC’s liberal talk-show host, blasted the Maine Republican party Wednesday for not counting all the votes in the Maine Republican caucuses. Republicans in Waterville, Waldo County and Washington County won’t have their votes counted, said state GOP chairman Charlie Webster, and that has angered many Republicans.

Maddow compared Maine to Iowa, where all the votes weren’t originally counted and Mitt Romney was prematurely declared the winner. The GOP later said Rick Santorum actually won, and the state chairman later resigned.

Portland Press Herald columnist Bill Nemitz joined Maddow at about the 12-minute mark.
