WATERFORD, Vt. — A Maine man is dead following a motorcycle accident in northern Vermont.
Vermont State Police say 22-year-old Nathan Stoll died Sunday afternoon when the motorcycle he was driving crossed the center line and clipped the side of an oncoming car on Route 5 in Waterford.
Stoll, of Carmel, Maine, was wearing a helmet at the time. He was pronounced dead later at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital, in St. Johnsbury.
Trooper Lyle Decker says the cause is still under investigation.
