HARPSWELL — A Harpswell man is being held on $50,000 bail on sexually abusing a girl who is now 13 over a period of two years.
Amos Johnson, 38, was arraigned in Cumberland County Unified Criminal Court Wednesday on 32 counts of gross sexual assault.
Detectives with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office became aware of the allegations Monday and launched an investigation. They arrested Johnson on Tuesday.
