AUGUSTA — Services for Maj. Gregory Sanborn, second-in-command of the Maine Warden Service, were rescheduled due to the snowstorm.
Calling hours will be 4-6 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. A celebration of life ceremony honoring the 47-year-old Sanborn will be 11 a.m. Monday, also at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy at 15 Oak Grove Rd. in Vassalboro.
The 23-year veteran of the warden service died Tuesday in hospice from cancer.
The events were rescheduled because Sanborn's family wanted to make sure that everyone who wants to attend can travel safely.
This story's headline was updated at 4:44 p.m. Sunday to correct the day of the funeral.
