CLINTON — A fire engulfed a mobile home on Johnson Flat Road Monday night at about 8 p.m.
Fire and rescue personnel were called to the intersection of Johnson Flat Road, Bush Road and Mutton Lane Monday night after a fire heavily damaged the mobile home.
Flames could be seen rising up from behind the trailer, which had smoke billowing out of it.
There was no information at the scene on whether anyone was injured or whether anyone was in the home.
A couple in the scene was huddled in a car, obviously shaken.
Clinton, Canaan and Fairfield fire departments responded to the scene.
