CONCORD, N.H. — Maine Sen. Susan Collins and New Hampshire Sen. Jeanne Shaheen are discussing the findings of a new study that examines the economic costs of diabetes nationwide.
The study was commissioned by the American Diabetes Association. It addresses the increased financial burden, health resources used and lost productivity associated with diabetes.
The senators are holding a news conference in Washington on Wednesday morning.
