Sanford police are investigating a robbery at the York County Credit Union on Main Street Thursday afternoon.

Police say a man entered the credit union art 1:42 p.m. and demanded money from a teller, then fled on foot. Nobody was injured.
Police say the man was wearing dark glasses and a distinctive hooded brown sweatshirt with a diamond pattern on it, as well as a black hat and dark glasses. He is heavy set, white, about six feet tall, in his 20s and wearing facial hair.
Sanford police asked that anyone with information call 324-9170.
