SKOWHEGAN — Firefighter were sent to Chestnut Street Tuesday morning after a caller reported a fire in a mobile home. Skowhegan fire Capt. Rick Caldwell said the a chimney pipe from a wood stove ignited a section of a wooden wall, but that the fire was nearly out when firefighters arrived just after 11:20 a.m. Crews tore out an additional portion of the wall to extinguish hot spots before the fire could spread.

IN PITTSFIELD, Monday at 7:15 a.m., a report of criminal mischief was taken from Higgins Road.
5:22 p.m., a report of larceny or fraud was taken from Raymond Street.
7:28 p.m., a threatening complaint was investigated on Birchwood Terrace.
IN SKOWHEGAN, Monday at 9:17 a.m., a theft was reported on Madison Avenue.
1:56 p.m., a noise complaint was taken from Butler Street.
6:23 p.m., a report of a violation of bail or of a protection order was taken from Ledgewood Drive.
6:53 p.m., a shots-fired complaint was investigated on Winter Street.
Tuesday at 6:37 a.m., police made an arrest following a report of trespass on Milburn Street.
11:55 a.m., a harassment complaint was taken from Adams Street.

IN FAIRFIELD, Monday at 9:23 p.m., Brandon Lee Tobey, 27, of Waterville, arrested on warrants for failure to appear.
IN MADISON, Monday at 9:27 p.m., James Scott Lee, 27, of Madison, arrested for unpaid fines or fees.
IN SKOWHEGAN, Tuesday at 7:30 a.m., Jeremy Jason Nelson, 35, of Anson, arrested on a charge of domestic violence criminal threatening.
