WATERVILLE — Two maternal relatives of 21-month-old Ayla Reynolds have taken polygraph exams, according to a release on aylareynolds.com.

Ayla’s uncle passed the exam, while Ayla’s grandmother was unable to complete it, according to the website.

Becca Hanson, Ayla’s maternal grandmother, took her exam Friday, according the website.

“Becca and the test administrator decided to attempt the test with the knowledge that she may not be able to complete due to her prescription medication,” the release states. “It was determined however that the medication indeed interfered with the test.”

Ronnie Reynolds, Ayla’s uncle, took his exam Thursday and passed it, according to the release.The website, aylareynolds.com, is maintained by Jeff Hanson, Becca Hanson’s husband.

Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland said he had no information on any new polygraphs.
