Wilton candidates forum slated for Wednesday


WILTON — Residents are invited to meet the candidates running for local office at a forum from 6:30 to 8 Wednesday at the Comfort Inn & Suites on U.S. Route 2.

Candidates will be available to meet informally for the first 30 minutes, and then they will be introduced and take questions for the final hour.

Raymond Lagasse and Tiffany Maiuri are running for an open selectmen’s seat held by Russell Black, who is not running for re-election.

James Black and Margaret Donahue are running for a school board seat held by Robert Pullo, who is not running for re-election.

Elections take place 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 4 at the town office. The annual Town Meeting is June 10.
