Bob's Cash Fuel won first place in the Madison-Anson Days' first chili cookoff on Thursday
The winning entry, the Shibley family's "gringo chili," received the most votes from the 150 attendees.
In second place was A&A Electric with Andrew, Ann and Ashton Heald's "shock ya! chili."
Third place went to a team called the Flamers, composed of father and daughter Bob and Elaine Wilder, for their "butt burner chili."
Bob's Cash Fuel won the showmanship trophy for best-decorated booth.
The event raised more than $2,000 to split between the People Who Care Food Cupboard and the Family Violence Shelter, both in Madison.
