Manchester Planning Board to consider Western Avenue auto site

STAFF REPORT

MANCHESTER -- The Planning Board is scheduled to meet Tuesday to consider a minor site review request for a proposed automobile business on Western Avenue.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Manchester Town Office.

Michael Saucier is seeking a minor site review for a proposed used-car sales and repair business at 1011 Western Ave., at the former site of Set Rental, according to Code Enforcement Officer Paul Mitnik.

The site is in the town's general development district.

The board also is scheduled to discuss the application requirements of notifying abutters, performance standards, and jurisdiction for shoreland zone conditional-use applications; and discuss ordinance revisions including inspection fees, itinerant vendors, a time limit after which incomplete applications require a new application and fee, multi-family housing density and frontage requirements, and subdivisions.
