WATERVILLE — State and Waterville police will provide an update on the case of missing toddler Ayla Reynolds today at 1:30 p.m. at a press conference, according to a news release from Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland.

Reached by phone Wednesday, McCausland wouldn’t say what police plan to discuss.

Ayla was reported missing from her Violette Avenue home on Dec. 17. Maine State Police are asking that tips be directed to them at 207-624-7076. There is a $30,000 reward for any information that leads investigators to Ayla’s whereabouts.
