CLINTON — Police are on the lookout for a man who allegedly stole $200 Monday from a cash register at Galusha’s Too on Main Street.

Clinton Police Chief Craig Johnson said the money was stolen while an employee left the building to assist a customer at the gas pumps.

The suspect is a man in his late 20s or early 30s. He is described as 5 feet, 7 inches with a slender build and was last seen driving a gray Toyota Scion.

Strong woman charged with assault

STRONG — A woman faces multiple charges after being accused of forcing her way into a Strong home and assaulting another woman, said Franklin County Sheriff’s Lt. Niles Yeaton.

Kimberly A. Luce, 36, of Strong, was arrested Sunday after another woman reported being attacked by Luce the day before. The other woman told police she knew Luce and the assault was connected to Luce’s boyfriend, Yeaton said.

The other woman, who Yeaton would not identify, answered a knock on the door Saturday morning and Luce forced her way inside the Farmington Road home, where she attacked the 32-year-old woman and threatened her before leaving, Yeaton said, citing police reports.

Luce was arrested the next day by Franklin County sheriff’s deputies. She is charged with burglary, assault and terrorizing and was released Sunday from Franklin County Detention Center in Farmington after posting $1,000 cash bail. Her next court date is March 23, Yeaton said.

Summons

IN FAIRFIELD, Sunday at 2:02 p.m., a 17-year-old was summoned on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer at Rite Aid on Main Street.

IN OAKLAND, Friday at 12:52 p.m., Matthew D. Jolin, 29, of 23 Pleasant St., Apt. 1, Oakland, was summoned on a charge of unauthorized taking or transfer.

Sunday at 2:01 p.m., Roxane Marie Montgomery, 44, of 274 Hussey Hill Road, Oakland, was summoned on a charge of violating condition of release.

IN WINSLOW, Sunday at 8:53 a.m., Tyler Jay Jackson, 18, of 5 Roy St., was summoned on a charge of furnishing a place for minors to consume liquor.

8:53 a.m., Frank Richard Knight, 18, of 122 Western Ave., Waterville, was summoned on a charge of a minor consuming liquor, on Roy Street.

Arrests

IN FARMINGTON, Feb. 8, Lisa Sweetser, 43, of Farmington, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence.

IN NEW SHARON, Feb. 7, Paul J. Brackett, 39, of New Sharon, was arrested on charges of operating under the influence and possession of a firearm by a felon.

IN NEW VINEYARD, Friday, Cedric J. Collins, 21, of New Vineyard, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence.

IN SIDNEY, Thursday at 9:30 p.m., William Henry Francis, 37, of 349 Drummond Road, Sidney, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

IN STRONG, Sunday, Kimberly A. Luce, 36, of Strong, was arrested on charges of burglary, assault and terrorizing.

IN WILTON, Feb. 8, Arthur Hentschel, 49, of Wilton, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault.

Thursday, Harold Wiley, 51, of Wilton, was arrested on charges of operating after suspension and violating a condition of release.
