IBEW hall windows shot

FAIRFIELD — Police are investigating the shooting Thursday of the glass on the front of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers union building at the intersection of Main and Bridge streets.

Police Dispatcher Jeanne Kempers said Friday the shooting is believed to have happened between 4:40 and 5 p.m. Thursday. No other details were available Friday afternoon.

IN BELGRADE, Thursday at 12:57 p.m., a theft was reported on Taylor Woods Road.

7:12 p.m., harassment was investigated on Augusta Road.

IN WINSLOW, Thursday at 8:10 p.m., harassment was investigated at Goudreau’s Retirement Inn on Augusta Road.

8:30 p.m., peace was restored after a report of threatening on Hallowell Street.

IN WATERVILLE, Thursday at 11:17 a.m., an unwanted person was reported at Maine Made and More on Main Street.

12:41 p.m., a theft was reported at J.C. Penney, at Elm Plaza.

12:52 p.m., a theft was reported on Grove Street.

1:07 p.m., someone from Colby College Security reported a theft.

1:08 p.m., an unwanted person was reported at City Hall.

1:16 p.m., a shoplifter was reported at Walmart, at Waterville Commons.

2:47 p.m., criminal trespass was reported at Waterville Senior High School on Brooklyn Avenue.

2:49 p.m., harassment was reported on Main Street.

3:49 p.m., a theft was reported at the field house at Colby College.

3:49 p.m., an unwanted person was reported on Silver Street.

4:24 p.m., an unwanted person was reported on College Avenue.

4:56 p.m., a vehicle accident with personal injury was reported on College Avenue.

Friday at 4:07 a.m., a burglary was reported at Uptown Style on Main Street.

4:10 a.m., a burglary was reported at Burger King on College Avenue.

8:10 a.m., harassment was reported on College Avenue.

Arrests

IN WATERVILLE, Thursday at 1:07 p.m., Robert Nichols, 28, listed as transient, was arrested on a charge of theft, at Elm Plaza.

1:09 p.m., Jeffrey S. Emery, 54, of 72 Western Ave., was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass, on Common Street.

2:32 p.m., Christopher E. Hawkes, 22, of 13 Hathaway St., Apartment 33, was arrested on a warrant, at Hathaway Apartments on Hathaway Street.

Friday at 2:01 a.m., Tyler Buker, 26, of 2 Silvermount St., arrested on charges of operating under the influence and failure to notify of a motor vehicle accident, on Silver Street.

11:25 a.m., Andrew I. Perkins, 20, listed as transient, arrested on a warrant, at Castonguay Square off Common Street.
