US Route 2 crash in Wilton hurts Jay woman
WILTON -- A Jay woman was treated for minor injuries after her car collided with a pickup truck Thursday on U.S. Route 2.
The woman, Chelsey Beaulieu, 18, of Jay, was distracted while driving on U.S. 2 in Wilton and rear-ended a Chevy pickup truck around 4:30 p.m., said Wilton Police Chief Heidi Wilcox.
Wilcox said Beaulieu's car hit the truck, driven by Thomas Massey, 55, of Temple, as he slowed down.
Beaulieu was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital and treated for minor injuries, Wilcox said. No charges were filed.
