When leaving Caswell’s Liquidation Center recently, I discovered a huge puddle around and under my car. A woman who had just left work at Caswell’s, and was probably most anxious to get home, came to look over the situation with me. She checked a couple of things, then called a male worker from inside the store, who also spent time to examine my car and to offer good advice.
I called to have my vehicle towed to my garage, as I had been wisely advised not to drive it.
I was so impressed by the thoughtfulness of the two people from Caswell’s, who took the time out of their lives to help this damsel in distress.
It’s so nice to know there are so many good and caring people out there. It’s too bad that we’re more likely to read and hear about the other kind.
To all who helped me, many thanks. Despite the car problems, I ended the day feeling good thinking about the kindness of those who helped.
