Payne should do homework before citing ‘facts’


Tony Payne’s commentary, Aug. 28, is factually incorrect. He says that legislators get a pension and lifetime health care after retiring, but this is untrue.

Case in point is that while my wife gets a small pension for her many, many years of service, she does not receive health care at citizens’ expense. Payne needs to do his homework before declaring the facts.
