Progressives want to take God out of government

Government officials, media members and special interest organizations, for many years have been attempting to discredit, disrupt and destroy the church of Jesus Christ.

While it is not possible to destroy the church, folks are attempting to remove references to Jesus Christ from the public square, in order to hide our long and consistent Christian history in America.

The Bible is the Holy Word of God and provides his commandments and other scripture, which are our guides for living.

Why are progressive liberals afraid of the Christian faith? Why are they attempting to remove God from our society?

I believe that they want to control our lives, the government and society. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Transforming America into a socialist or marxist and godless society will include taking our taxes and other resources and forcibly redistributing our personal property.

Our Constitution, the Founding Fathers, and our faith represent American values.

Radical progressives are quietly removing Christian references from America one at a time — school prayer, pledge, crosses, Ten Commandments, sanctity of life, traditional marriage, and they are criticizing and demonizing Christians and Christianity.

America was founded by mostly Christians who came to these shores to establish a godly country. Our Christian history is recorded at the Supreme Court, and throughout the stairwell of the Washington monument there are scriptures praising God. At the apex of the monument in Latin it says Praise to God.

The intention of this great nation was and is to praise God for our blessings and live godly lives. Go to manhattandeclaration.org to learn more about the Christian history and faith. God bless you.
