Agree that some Internet sites should be shut down

I can understand all the publicity regarding censoring the Internet, but I do agree with some of the opposition.

In the early days of Hotmail, I received some horrendous emails. I did nothing to solicit those emails. If legislation shut that practice down, it's a good thing.

I saw a video of Bill Maher on YouTube once, when he had Chris Rock as a guest on his show. It was vulgar, awfully vulgar. In no way should that have been allowed on TV, not even HBO. The language used was atrocious. They were ridiculing Ann Coulter. I could not believe what they were saying, let alone that it was allowed to be on TV.

I filed a complaint with YouTube (owned by Google), but never got a response. I assume the video is still there. I assume Maher is still on TV. I assume Rock has not changed his ways.

Back to YouTube, Hotmail and the temptation of the Internet. I do believe some of this stuff should be shut down. I am not a total prude -- within reason. Freedom? I hate to use the phrase "I am offended," but in this case I am.

Also, I am not an advocate of WikiLeaks. Why was there not a criminal investigation and a court hearing (at least an indictment)?

Recently I tried to Google something, but instead of the search line, I got a protest page from Wikipedia, even though I don't think Google is associated with WikiLeaks. Just give it up, Google and Wikipedia and YouTube and ....
