It sure seems like the chance of a Congress and a president that cooperate and compromise to work toward some progress is long gone with the fiscal cliff challenge they faced and fumbled.
I doubt we’ll make any progress on Social Security/Medicare, debt reduction, jobs, immigration or campaign financing this term. What a shame, it’d be nice to have no worries in life.
Kind of like in Ireland, which has freedom and protection provided by England and our military, taxes corporations only 12.5 percent and has had more top companies move their home offices there than any other country.
Or China, that makes up its employment, environmental and monetary statistics so it can to play outside the rules.
We’re like that parent who pays all the bills and insurance, but their grown child lives in the basement drives a new car, has the posse over, orders pizza and plays video games every night.
