Reisert gets 'incomplete' grade for recent column

In his column published on Feb. 22, "1923 Supreme Court: Minimum wage law an unjust means to a good end," Professor Joseph Reisman argues that minimum wage laws are a bad idea because such laws substitute wages set by the government for wages set by the marketplace.

Ah, the market. The market that brought us: child labor, employment discrimination, deadly consumer products, Wall Street shenanigans, unsafe even deadly workplaces and I could go on.

The grade I would give the professor: "Incomplete. See me on this."
