Letter to the Editor

Family comes first; however, Augusta has always been my passion and top priority.

As a student-athlete I represented Cony High School with pride, as did our daughter, Katie.

I have worked hard to grow as a person, opened my own business, Rollins Appraisal Service, and gave back to my community.

After much involvement in community activities, I ran for an at-large seat on the City Council. Voters honored me with an upset victory.

Since election, I have worked tirelessly for Augusta. I like the satisfaction that comes with helping make positive things happen for Augusta: The business academy at Capital Area Technical Center, historic preservation ordinances, alumni field improvements, KV entrepreneur network and Downtown Alliance. I enjoyed serving as interim mayor.

Now I seek a final term on the City Council and ask for voters' support. I hope they feel I have earned it.
