Special thanks for special community

Letter to the Editor

There still are good people out here.

My wife and I would like to take a moment to thank all the good people who helped us on Jan. 4 and 5 with our broken snowsled on ITS 87 in Moscow. We were looking at a very long walk.

A very special thanks goes to the guy with the Arctic Cat Jag. He loaded us both onto his sled and drove us out to civilization. And to the woman at Thompson's Restaurant who let us use her cellphone until we could locate someone to come get us and even offered to get us a ride home.

Thanks also to the guys who helped to get the sled loaded onto a makeshift sled the next day to get it home.
