Rich class is making war against poor, and winning

In May 2005, Warren Buffett, the world's richest man, told CNN, "There's class warfare all right, but it's my class, the rich class, that's making war, and we're winning."

This concerted attack on unions and the working people they represent is witness to Buffett's apologetic statement. The national Republican agenda is fueled by big money and big greed. This entire financial "crisis" was put in place by Wall Street and hundreds of Bernie Madoffs.

Now that the bill comes due, it is handed off to working people as if they, or the poor, caused the problem. The extremely wealthy and greedy use their power and influence to make both parties do their bidding in meetings at the country club.

Here's a little math: If 2 percent of the population controls 85 percent of the wealth, why aren't they paying 85 percent of the bill?

Wake up, America. Warren Buffett got it right.
