MONMOUTH -- The Theater At Monmouth will hold auditions for Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance" at 6 p.m. Aug. 9 at Cumston Hall.

Interested singers and actors can join auditions for the production, which is scheduled for Sept. 24 through Oct. 3 at Cumston Hall.

Most of the key roles have been cast, but roles in the chorus are available to men and woman age 16 and older. Rehearsals are held weekday evenings Aug. 24, 26 and 31, and Sept. 2 and 9. Staging rehearsals for the full cast will be held weekday evenings, except Mondays, and weekend days, through opening on Sept. 24. Chorus members should be quick learners.

Those auditioning should bring a song to sing and sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.
