Local music series continues with guitarist Jeff Pevar

READFIELD -- World-class musician Jeff Pevar is returning to central Maine for his first concert appearance in two years.

Readfield musician and resident Ed DesJardins is organizing this latest in a series of live performances bringing unsurpassed musical entertainment to local audiences. DesJardins notes in a news release that Pevar, a touring guitarist for performers such as Jackson Browne, Crosby Stills and Nash, Rickki Lee Jones, Ray Charles, Mark Cohn and Bonnie Raitt, will be accompanied by local musicians Robbie Coffin on guitar, Greg Lindholm on bass and Alfred Lund on drums and percussion.

The event will take place at St. Andrew's Church, 16 Church Road, Saturday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. St. Andrew's is an intimate venue with limited seating.
